Wrist lumps and bumps
22m
In the routine clinical setting of wrist sonography, many "lumps and bumps" are encountered. The vast majority of wrist masses are benign although they have varied sonographic appearances and management strategies. Whilst the most common lesion is a ganglion, there are many more lesions that require ultrasound assessment. The aim of this presentation is to cover the masses around the wrist that are encountered during clinical sonography and outline the ultrasound appearances. Ultrasound can assist the management by making specific diagnoses and can be used to aid biopsy and treatment.
